4BBB Stableford Calculator
Four-Ball Better-Ball (4BBB) is a popular team format. On each hole, the best Stableford score from the two partners is counted for the team. This calculator helps each partner calculate their individual scores.

How 4BBB Stableford Works
In 4BBB, two golfers play as a team, each playing their own ball. After each hole, the player with the higher Stableford point score provides the team's score for that hole. This format allows one player to have a bad hole without penalizing the team, as long as their partner performs well.
Handicaps in 4BBB are typically adjusted to 85% or 90% of a player's course handicap to ensure fairness. You should calculate this adjusted handicap before using the calculator.
Example on a Par 4 hole:
- Player A (Handicap 10): Scores a 5 (gross bogey). They get a stroke on this hole, so their net score is 4 (net par), earning them 2 points.
- Player B (Handicap 20): Scores a 6 (gross double bogey). They also get a stroke, so their net score is 5 (net bogey), earning them 1 point.
In this scenario, the team takes Player A's score of 2 points for the hole. Use the two calculators above to keep track of each partner's score, then compare the points on each hole to determine your team score!
